Any man watching this that denies 'tearing up', is only lying to himself, and damn!, I don't even have a daughter, we, my wife and I, have two very fine sons, they're not faultless, but they are fabulous!.
I know what it's like to be away serving my country, missing family, that's part of what we do, no illusions.
To walk through the front door of home, back into the the fold, was pure joy, utter comfort, I was complete again every time.
That's what made it so special, and oh so sweet, every time I came back home to my family.
I know how he feels.
